1. We, the Holden Car Club of WA Inc, must abide by the rules and regulations laid down to the C.M.C. by the Western Australian Government Licensing Authority.
   
   
2. Code 404 requires the owner to be solely responsible for all compliance to the code and the operation of a roadworthy vehicle.
   
   

Code 404 requirements (Statutory Requirements)

1. Eligible vehicles are those 25 years or older.
   
   
2. Code 404 requires that vehicles must be factory standard or factory optioned. Modifications are not permitted, unless approved in writing by the C.M.C. Technical Committee. The onus is on the owner to fully comply with all the requirements of Code 404 including remaining a financial member of a Car Club at all times and maintaining the car in an original unmodified condition. Failure to do so will result in the vehicle being deemed unlicensed and therefore uninsured.
   
   
3. Familiarize yourself with the clubs “Concessional Licencing Rules” and the CMC “Concessional Licence Code 404 Information Booklet” and be certain that you can comply with all requirements.
   
   

Holden Car Club of WA Inc Code 404 Requirements.

1. Owners that wish to have their vehicles on code 404 through the Club must be current financial members by the 30th June each year. No extension will be permitted; members MUST remain financial at all times otherwise the vehicle will be deemed unregistered by DoT.
   
   
2. The annual cost to have a vehicle entered onto the Holden Club register will be $25, effective 2018, per car per annum (subject to annual review).
   • The Holden Car Club of WA Inc will require the car to be presented for inspection at a General Meeting, by prior arrangement, prior to acceptance for concessional license by the Holden Car Club of WA Inc.
   • For a vehicle to be considered for concessional license initially it must be currently registered and meet all conditions of code 404.
   • The Holden Car Club of WA Inc reserves the right to reject an application for concessional license if in contravention of the above.
     
     
3. If your vehicle passes its inspection at the General Meeting the Vehicle Registrar / Secretary will send you a signed CMC1 form. You will need to fill in and make a photocopy of the E81 (Statutory Declaration) form. Download Form
   
   
4. Take the paperwork and your current registration papers for the vehicle (if currently licensed) to a Licencing Centre of the Department of Transport. You cannot do this at a Post Office. There may be some fees to pay for the licence as well as fees for registration plates if required.
   
   
5. Members are encouraged to support the Club by way of attendance at Club organised events
