Code 404 Concessional Licence Procedure
In order to have your vehicle placed on concessional licence you will need to follow the procedure below:
- You must be a financial a member of the Holden Car Club of WA Inc. Membership Application forms can be downloaded from the website.
- The Holden Car Club of WA Inc, must abide by the rules and regulations laid down to C.M.C. (Council of Motoring Clubs of WA) by the Western Australian Government Licensing Authority. Familiarize yourself with the clubs “Concessional Licencing Rules” and the CMC “Concessional Licence Code 404 Information Booklet” and be certain that you can comply with all requirement.
- Arrange with the Vehicle Registrar / Secretary for a vehicle inspection at our next General Meeting by emailing info@holdencarclub.org.au . Meetings are held bi-monthly and published in the minute’s section of the website. Inspection is to confirm the vehicle has not been modified and meets original factory specifications. Please bring a photocopy of your licence papers to leave with us.
- If your vehicle passes its inspection at the General Meeting the Vehicle Registrar / Secretary will send you a signed CMC1 form. You will need to fill in and make a photocopy of the E81 (Statutory Declaration) form. Download Form
- Take the paperwork and your current registration papers for the vehicle (if currently licensed) to a Licencing Centre of the Department of Transport. You cannot do this at a Post Office.
There may be some fees to pay for the licence as well as fees for registration plates if required. - The attendant at DOT will adjust the licence category to code 404.
- After the licence has been changed you will need to provide the Holden Car Club Vehicle Registrar / Secretary with a photocopy of the adjusted registration papers and the E81 Form.
This must be done as soon as all procedures with the DOT are concluded. - The vehicle will be entered as concessional on club records only when all the required paperwork is returned and DOT will be notified.
- You will need to purchase a set of Classification Plates (Historic) from the Club (cost $20 per set) and fix to your vehicle. As per code 404 rules, if not displayed, your vehicle is classed as unregistered.
- Owners that wish to have their vehicles on code 404 through the Club must be current financial members by the 30th June each year. No extension will be permitted; members MUST remain financial at all times as vehicle will be deemed unregistered by DoT
